On May 23, 2010 at Shanghai, CCTV-5 – the Sports Channel of CCTV: the major State Television Broadcaster in mainland China – opted for the SprintCam technology as the primary ultra-slow-motion equipment during the IAAF Diamond League Shanghai. Thanks to the technical know-how of I-MOVIX’s local partner: Instrimpex Instec Import & Export Corporation, the prestigious Chinese TV network made the most of the unique capabilities of the SprintCam technology to create high value content for their TV viewers.

At Shanghai, seven sports – Women’s Shot Put, Women’s Triple Jump, Men’s Javelin Throw, Men’s Jump, Men’s Pole Vault, Men’s 200 Meters, Men’s 110 Meters Hurdle – were filmed with the SprintCam® Live V2.1 (Photron® powered), going up to 10,000 images per second and providing extreme slow-motion shots in real-time and of extraordinary quality.
