On the 4th of September 2009, the 33rd Edition of the Memorial Ivo Van Damme was broadcasted in High Definition thanks to the most innovative Belgian technologies, making of that athletics meeting a unique media event. A delight for sports lovers looking for exceptional images. Among the Belgian technologies selected for the Show, the VRT and the Belgian Sports Technology Club (BSTC) chose the ultra slow motion SprintCam V3 HD systems developed and commercialized by I-Movix. The teams of the VRT and of its partners: VideoHouse and Alfacam used The SprintCam V3 HD solutions – allowing the capture and replay without delay of 500 to 1,000 images per second in full HD native resolution – without any specific training. These major Belgian broadcast actors were able to get the most of the technical capabilities of the SprintCam systems, to the up-most delight of the TV viewers.
